God Loves You and Wants Your Life to Have Meaning.

Have you ever wondered why...

  • Some people always seem to have inward peace no matter how bad things seem to be.
  • Some people never seem to have inward peace no matter how good things seem to be.

You can have inward peace and a meaningful life by knowing and following God's way for you.

This is His plan for everyone:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

This is His plan for you:

"For God so loved _________ that He gave His only begotten Son that __________ who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
(insert your name in the blank)

Then why doesn't everyone have this meaningful life?

We Can Interrupt God's Plan for Us By:

  • Ignoring God

  • Rebelling against God

  • Trying to go it alone

  • Trying to be God

We bring misery and alienation upon ourselves through sin (refusing God's love, help and guidance).

"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves." 1 John 1:8

When we do this we find...

Rebellion Brings Disorder to Life.

We are out of harmony:

  • With God

  • With ourself

  • With others

  • With our world

No one can find adequate meaning by themself.

"By Grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing it is the gift of God..." Ephesians 2:8

God Comes in Jesus Christ to Give Us Life

"I am come that you may have Life." John 10:10

"And this is life eternal, that you may know God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent." John 17:3

We cannot restore harmony with God while we are in rebellion. We cannot find adequate meaning in life while we are out of harmony with the source of life. Jesus Christ offers peace with God and harmony with life.

He died for us.

"God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

He forgives our sins.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

He restores our relationship to God.

"God was (came) in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself." II Corinthians 5:19

He gives life and new meaning.

"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, the old has passed, behold the new has come." II Corinthians 5:17

We Can Find Happiness and Meaning in Life...

We Can Find Happiness and Meaning in Life...

...as We Receive and Confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
We can confess Jesus as Savior and Lord.

"To all how received Him who believed in His name He gave power to become children of God." John 1:12

We can confess Jesus as Savior and Lord

"Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

Jesus is ready to give you life now.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." Revelation 3:20
