God Comes in Jesus
Christ to Give Us Life
"I am come that you may have Life." John
10:10"
And this is life eternal, that you may
know God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent." John
17:3
We cannot restore harmony with God while we
are in rebellion. We cannot find adequate meaning
in life while we are out of harmony with the
source of life. Jesus Christ offers peace with
God and harmony with life.
He died for us
"God shows his love for us in that while
we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans
5:8
He forgives our sins
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
He restores our relationship to God
"God was (came) in Christ reconciling
the world unto Himself." II Corinthians
5:19
He gives life and new meaning
"Therefore, if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature, the old has passed, behold
the new has come." II Corinthians 5:17
